Intensive activities have been carried out all over the world for a long time to serve these purposes. Many written and visual communication channels and places such as popular science books, magazines, science festivals, science centers, planetariums, natural history museums, aquariums, television programs are used for this purpose.

Science is part of our education system because it is part of our lives. It will be stimulating and exciting for each of us to see science with a different content from the standard curriculum content we see in school. This is why the concept of “fun science” is important. Educational scientists, science communicators, child development experts and experts from other fields working on this subject, institutions, non-governmental organizations and even governments have seen the positive impact of such activities on individuals and society. Many scientific articles written in this field are added every day, periodic conferences are held, international organizations and public institutions work intensively. In our country, TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) has undertaken the leadership of the subject.

The world of science is full of surprises, giving us the opportunity for endless exploration adventures. Learning science and doing research is fun for everyone when presented with age-specific content and proven practices. As we learn about scientific facts that are everywhere at any time and that we are mostly unaware of, our view of the world and our environment is renewed. We always want to learn more. Catching clues for new solutions and inventions by following scientific processes motivates us to think innovatively in our daily life.
